How do we break our patterns of depression or feeling small and change our state of mind to give us the inner strength to tackle any obstacle.

 Amy Cuddy does an excellent job explaining how we use our body, how our body language, can actually affect our state of mind and in turn our level of success in life.

In business and life in general, there are so many external obstacles that can take away our self-belief if we let them.

There are many studies that show the more confident you are the more successful you will be. After all if you are not confident in success, than chances are you will not give it 100%, this in turn giving you a much greater chance of failure. It also gives you a "get out clause", you can say to yourself "well I might have won if I had put in 100%"

Unfortunately, most of us let outside forces dictate our level of state. We allow people to makes us feel depressed, take away our motivation but we also use people to make us feel good. The problem is, if we allow others to affect our emotion on a daily basis than we are not really in control of our life.

The question becomes how do we control our own state of mind. How do make ourselves feel positive and powerful beyond measure.
